At EKGC we recognise that fees are an important part of the gymnastics experience. We try to keep our base fees as competitive as possible, whilst ensuring that we are financially sustainable.
Every gymnast when starting is entitled to a free trial session. Once the gymnast has attended this and decides to continue with the club, fees must be set up through Class4kids, the link will be sent to parents to set this up. For gymnasts starting in classes up to one hour per week, the monthly fee will be £26 per month. There is a one-off joining fee of £15 that comes to the club to cover administration. All gymnasts must have Scottish/British Membership for insurance purposes. This must be completed after the second paid session. The payment of Scottish/British Gymnastics insurance goes directly to the governing bodies and does not come to the club at all. This insurance is annual and must be renewed with Scottish/British Gymnastics each year, currently each August.
Monthly fees are calculated over a 48 week year, split into 12 monthly payments.
Our fees are comparable with other clubs and in many cases cheaper than other clubs. We also recognise that we cannot just apply the base hourly rate to those that do significantly more training hours than others. If we did just apply the hourly rate to the higher training hours then only the wealthy would be able to train and compete. We have the sliding scale below to adjust the fee rates as the training hours increase, whilst ensuring the viability of paying the coaches for these training hours.
The table also shows the discounts that would be applied for those that have a second child within the club. To calculate the fees look along the top row for the number of hours trained by the child doing the most hours, then where the number of hours trained by the second child crosses over this that is the amount of fees due each month for both children.
There are also discounts for three or more siblings, these will be calculated separately.
